Next to a massive Image Slideshow, which looks pretty cool, the home page of the Mega Store Magento Theme offers a clean horizontal navigation bar, a wide search box at the upper right position, where most users expect it to be, and a section for featured products. Naturally, you’re able to customisze this page as you wish!

Personally I think there’s a bit of a drawback in using such a huge Slideshow module; there’s a lot of stuff duving under the fold. However, you’re free to set the with of the Image Slideshow yourself, I guess that solves my problem right there!

There’s more nice stuff, like the Tabbed menu for product descriptions, ratings of other (techncial) specifiations. The ability to fit your category pages with 4 colums, with 4 products in a row, is great for larger stores offering many items per category.

JM Larix Magento Theme

JM Larix is another Magento theme by Joomlart and described as clean and user friendly. The home page of this theme looks very clean indeed, with long sidebars for extensive product filtering, which is great for online shops with a wide range of different items.

The integrated Poduct Slider is a real eye catcher and a very nice way of attracting extra attention for a special selection of products. Product and Category pages are looking clean, putting focus on products rather then on shop design. A flaw in the current version of this theme is the lack of a link to the home page at the logo image. However, this has been reported by Magentico and will be fixed in a future update!

JM Larix is available in three different colors; Orange, Blue and Green. All modules used in the template are included in the theme package, so there’s no need to purchase any additional extensions, this theme truly is simplicity in a box!

JM Epidio Magento Theme

The JM Epidio Magento theme has been developed for digital download store owners. Next to the basic features of Magento, a few custom plugins have been incorporated in this theme. There’s for example a Product Slideshow that provides your home page with a nice moving image and text, great for promotions and eyecatchers.

The Product List is a custom module used on the frontpage to display a row of products of your choice, from any category. The Tabs Module makes smart use of precious screen estate by putting different content items like a tag cloud or a newsletter sign-up in a neatly tabbed section.

This Magento theme comes with 11 different style sheets. This is great news for those of you who would like to assign different templates to different categories of a Magento shop; this theme will allow you to do so easily, without having to dig into code and css styles yourself.

Here we can put some text describing the Magento theme or template. Discussing theme layout, special functions, look and feel etc. Nothing too special just a nice byte if useful information. About 100 words should be alright, text should be informative but informal, nothing to complicated, just positieve feedback on the theme in question.
